Dr. Ayoosh Pareek is an orthopedic sports surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York, where he specializes in sports surgeries of the hip and knee with a focus on joint preservation and reconstruction. He serves as the inaugural Medical Director of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health at HSS, leading initiatives that integrate machine learning and advanced technology into musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Pareek completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University. He has authored over 110 peer-reviewed publications, including more than 40 focused on AI and machine learning in orthopedics. His research has been supported by over $250,000 in national and international grant funding, and he is a two-time recipient of the prestigious AOSSM Herodicus Award.
