How has robotics changed the way we perform knee arthroplasty ?
Dr. Reha N. Tandogan is a senior member of Çankaya Orthopaedics in Ankara, Turkey, specializing in joint-preserving surgery, arthroplasty, and robotic knee surgery.
He is the past chair of the Department of Orthopedics & Traumatology at Baskent University, Ankara. His expertise includes knee arthroscopy, multi-ligament injuries, cartilage repair, orthobiologics, osteotomies, and robotic knee arthroplasty.
Dr. Tandogan is past Chairman of the European Knee Associates (EKA) section of ESSKA and Associate Editor of the KSSTA Journal. He serves on the Scientific Committee of European Federation of National Associations of Orthopedics & Traumatology (EFORT). With a strong focus on orthobiologics, he is a board member of the Regenerative Medicine and Orthopedic Society (RMOS) and past president of both the Turkish Society of Sports Traumatology and the Turkish Society of Preventive Hip Surgery.
He has authored 11 books on knee surgery and sports traumatology and published over 160 scientific articles (h-index 32).
Active in education, Dr. Tandogan lectures widely at international meetings and organizes cadaver courses and symposia.
