Dr Urszula Zdanowicz is an orthopaedic consultant specialising in knee, foot, and ankle surgery.
Her clinical focus includes arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures such as meniscus suturing and allografts, ACL reconstruction, osteotomies, multi-ligament reconstructions, cartilage repair and transplantation, patella stabilization, total joint replacements, and fusions. She is also experienced in traumatology, managing fractures and dislocations in both adult and paediatric patients.

Dr Zdanowicz is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and book chapters (ResearchGate profile). She is a faculty member at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, where she conducts research in tissue regeneration.

With a long-standing involvement in sports medicine, she has served as a team physician for a wide range of disciplines, including the Polish Swimming Association, Polish Football Association, Polish Olympic Committee, Polish National Ballet, and currently the Polish Representation in Water Rescue. She was also a team physician during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino.

Dr Zdanowicz has been a frequent speaker and instructor at national and international cadaver-based instructional courses. She serves as a reviewer for the KSSTA Journal and Foot and Ankle Surgery, and she shares orthopaedic knowledge through her educational channels on Instagram and YouTube (@dr.urszula.zdanowicz).
